Every handmade 16×16 Mexican Saltillo tile is different. It has a blend of rustic characteristics, including (but not limited to) variations in size, texture, and thickness, variations in color, bumps, chips, hairline cracks, smudge marks, and even an occasional animal paw print. These are not defects in large square Saltillo flooring. They are marks of authenticity found in all Saltillo colors, including Manganese, Traditional, Antique (textured nonslip tiles), and Spanish Mission floor tiles.
